Memberdayakan Komunitas: Komunikasi Kooperatif Dalam Platform Media Komunitas

Abstract


Media komunitas di era digital berfungsi sebagai saluran penting untuk melestarikan budaya lokal, memberdayakan masyarakat, dan mendorong keterlibatan demokratis. Di tengah gelombang globalisasi yang luar biasa dan kemajuan teknologi yang pesat, media komunitas menjangkar individu ke konteks lokal mereka, membantu mereka mempertahankan rasa identitas dan koneksi dengan lingkungan mereka. Melalui pendekatan strategi studi kasus etnografi, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali peran komunitas budaya Bali Buja (paguyuban peduli budaya Jawa) di Klaten dalam merevitalisasi semangat lokal. Di luar perannya dalam melestarikan warisan budaya, Bali Buja mempromosikan partisipasi sipil dan kohesi sosial melalui media komunitas berbasis teknologi internet. Inklusivitas adalah ciri khas media komunitas, memastikan bahwa kelompok yang terpinggirkan menemukan ekspresi serta memperkaya mosaik identitas komunitas. Media hiperlokal, bagian dari media komunitas, mengatasi penurunan konten lokal di media arus-utama dengan berfokus pada wilayah geografis yang lebih kecil. Hal ini memungkinkan komunitas budaya untuk melestarikan dan menampilkan warisan, tradisi, dan kreativitas seni mereka. Media komunitas, melalui praktik komunikasi kooperatif, meningkatkan kolaborasi dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, media komunitas menjembatani tradisi dan inovasi, melestarikan budaya lokal sambil memanfaatkan teknologi media di era digital. Media komunitas menjadi mercusuar yang memberdayakan komunitas untuk menghadapi dunia modern sambil tetap menghargai akar mereka.
